The festival “ Art Zone /Tbilisi 2008” will be held in Fall , the representatives of the Polish art will visit Tbilisi  on the 3rd-5th of October on account of the festival, which is to be held with the back up of Tbilisi  City Hall.

“ Festivals are  great  occasions in Tbilisi and due to this very reason they should be held very often, we should often get in the known of the cultures of other countries and  attract as many tourists as possible, owning to this reason the Polish will visit Tbilisi in Fall, and will show a very serious program , I think that unforgettable day s are awaiting us, “- said Neka Sebiskveradze, the deputy head of the municipal department of social services and culture.

The festival “ Art Zone /Tbilisi 2008” will mainly center around the Polish art, Hip-Hop and folklore groups, “ Movement theater”  and  the Polish  movie evenings  are not the complete list that will be shown in Tbilisi, all the shows will be free.

“ A very interesting program will be preformed by the group of the Polish artists consisting of 40 members. The concerts will be held in the open air, the street performances will be also available, the Polish and the Georgian musicians will hold classical music evenings, the project envisages  the promotion of the Polish culture as well as the manifesting its values in Georgia, “- Magda Novakovska, project director.

The festival  will be held with the support of the first lady of Georgia Sandra Rulovs , the  Polish embassy  and the City Hall  of Warsaw are  also actively involved in the project.
