Saguramo preserve is located on the mountain ringe of saguramo 25 km. away from Tbilisi, it was founded in 1946 and its total area is 5241 h. Saguramo mountain ringe is a “Kolkheti forest island” in the eastern part of Georgia, where the relicts of tertiary period are met.
On the way to Zedazeni from Saguramo, the ruins of st. George basilica are found.
