Public discussions around Tbilisi Land Use Master Plan are underway. First meeting was held at Tbilisi City Assembly, where Master Plan development team from “City Institute Georgia” made a presentation on the subject matter.

According to the Mayor of Tbilisi Mr. David Narmania, the document will be publicly discussed in professional circles.
“All changes offered by Master Plan are important to achieve desired improvement of living environment in our city. During last 3 years, all measures taken in this regard were results of individual decisions. After Tbilisi will have its Land Use Master Plan, all these efforts will derive from one framework. We could also call the document our city’s “constitutional document”. It would pave the way for correct urban development processes” – stated Mr. Narmania.
Public discussions of renewed Tbilisi Land Use Master Plan will be held at Architects Union, Technical University of Georgia, Academy of Science and State University of Georgia. There are plans to include members of State Academy of Art in these discussions.
